Officer* Project Development!

The position is a permanent position with 39 h/week.

These are your responsibilities

  • Develop proposals and grant applications for international institutional donor funded projects in CBM’s technical areas (Inclusive Humanitarian Action, CBID, Inclusive Eye Health & Neglected Tropical Diseases)
  • Maintain contacts with the respective donors and collaborate closely with the regional & technical teams in identifying and assessing funding opportunities, project ideas and developing proposals
  • Develop the international donor portfolio
  • Ensure close cooperation with the stakeholders
  • Support in project development capacity building & quality assurance
  • Contribute to the development and setup of the system and processes to enhance the planning and development of projects

These are your qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field of study
  • Experience in the development or management of projects funded by international institutional donors (e.g., EU, USAID, UN)
  • Professional proficiency in English; skills in other language is beneficial
  • Practical experience in institutional fundraising and/or business development
  • Willingness to travel on business to CBM project countries
  • Flexible team player with proactive and entrepreneurial thinking ability
  • Identification with the Christian values and the mandate of CBM
